When things don’t go to plan

There’s a lot going on in the world at the moment…

plenty of disruption.

Recently, a friend of mine was due to take a long-haul trip with a layover in Dubai.

Needless to say… the flight was cancelled.

The refund came through quickly, which was great.

But not hugely helpful when you still have somewhere to get to.

Fortunately, she was still in the UK at the time.

But she had a decision to make.

Do I still go…

or do I cancel the whole trip?

That’s a big decision.

She chose to go.

And then came the next challenge…

How do I actually get there now?

Different routes, different airlines, trying to piece it all together

She got there in the endand had an amazing trip

But it did make me think

When something like that happens

it’s not just about the disruption

It’s the time. the stress, the figuring it all out

And doing it on your own

Because when things don’t go to plan, that’s when having a bit of support would make all the difference
